Pat R. (Faris) Wooten, 85, formerly of Burleson and Amarillo, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017.
At Pat’s request, there will be no services or viewing. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Ballinger.

Pat was born April 10, 1931, in Ballinger, to Lottie Webster and Ollie Halstead Faris. She was drum majorette in High School. Pat married Ernie Wooten in July of 1964. They were married for 48 years.
She and Ernie enjoyed their 5th wheel travels, going to trap shoots (clay targets), but the hobby she liked most was shopping. Pat was considered a “pro” amongst her shopping friends.
Pat was lovingly cared for by the staff at Town Hall Estates in Keene for almost five years. Her family and friends are so grateful for the love they showed Pat.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernie Wooten; brother, L.W Faris; and sisters, Eugie Flynt and Juanita Russell.
Survivors include her step-son, Paul, of Florida; three generations of nieces and nephews; her fur-baby, Molly; faithful friends, Jerry and Trish O’Connor; Jessie Hartwell; and a very special niece, Karen Russell, who was always there any time she was needed.
