Mary Margaret Moore McClure passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, April 30, 2017, at 87 years of age.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment is 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at Ridgepark Cemetery, in Hillsboro. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Friday, May 5,2017, at First Baptist Church, Burleson.

Mary was born March 12, 1930, in Hillsboro, Texas, to C.E. “Teenie” and Mary Ameda (Darnell) Moore. She was everyone’s best friend and a very gifted grandmother to her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. We were blessed with the best!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sugar Bill McClure; and one son, Dennis McClure; her mother and father; one sister; three brothers; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her son, David McClure and wife, Judie, of Itasca; daughter, Janet Mormon and husband, Dan, of Georgetown; grandchildren, Stephanie Harris of Itasca, Ashley Cripe and husband, Billy, of Waco, Capt. Jake Mormon and wife, Amanda, of Carmel, California, Kate Reed and husband, Austin, of Dallas, Michelle Joseph and husband, Floyd, of Southlake, Meredith Mormon and Bryce Morrow of Round Rock, and Michael McClure, of New York; great-grandchildren, Jesse Harris, of Itasca, Liam Cripe, of Waco, Lincoln Joseph, of Southlake, Avery Cripe, of Waco, Ellie Morrow, of Round Rock, Callen Mormon, of Carmel, California, and Truman Joseph, of Southlake; one brother, Jon Moore and wife, Phyllis, of Fort Worth; many cousins; and many good friends.
