Donald Clint Green, 90, of Burleson, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Burial was 3 p.m. Tuesday at Land of Memory Memorial Park in Palestine, Texas.
Donald was born May 26, 1927, in Neches, Texas, to Ruby and Hattie (Wood) Green. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Donald later served in the USAR/National Guard for 38 years, where he retired as a Colonel. He also retired from Lockheed Martin after 42 years of employment. Donald was faithful in his service to Christ, guardian of his family, and patriot to his country.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Green, in 2000; wife, Nancy Green, in 2016; and two of his daughters, Kathy and Donna Green.
Survivors include his daughter, Patty Green, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Matt Douty, of Frisco, and Lauren Dancey, of Boise, Idaho; great-grandson, Ethan Douty, of Fort Worth; daughter-in-love, Dana Johnson and husband, Rent, of Elgin, Texas; three brothers; one sister; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving friends, especially his Cana Baptist Church family.
