Maurine Pippin, 94, of Burleson, passed away Friday, Sept., 22, 2017, in Burleson.
Services were Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, in Joshua. Rusty Gilliam officiated. Burial followed in Grandview, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army General Fund or Cross Timber Baptist Church.
Maurine was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Huntington, Ind. She was a resident of Burleson for 50 years. For many years, she was a member of Cross Timber Baptist Church. Mrs. Pippin was also a DAR member. She was retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and husband, Alfred Pippin.
Survivors include her daughters, Eva Joness and husband, Wynn Joness, of Crowley, and Beth Pippin, of Burleson; granddaughters, Rachael Joness and Lauren Joness; and many other family members.
