Dorothy Still Parks Snider, 93, entered her heavenly home Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, in Glen Rose.
Her Celebration of Life Ceremony was2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, Joshua. A private burial followed.Visitation was2-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born May 21, 1923, in Deming, New Mexico, to George and Rebecca Still. She married Hubert Parks on January 1, 1943, and Donald Snider in 1978, both preceded her in death. Dorothy was the eldest of her two sisters, Georgia, who preceded her in death, and Rebecca. Her life was spent in ministry beginning at the age of 15. Dorothy was ordained with the UPCI, serving churches in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. She was a missionary in both Africa and Japan. Dorothy was an assistant pastor in Kansas City, Missouri, and later pastored a growing church in Moberly, Missouri.
She spent her last years ministering to the seniors at Calvary Church in Ft. Worth. Dorothy was faithful until her death, sharing the good news of the gospel. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the many to whom she ministered to over the years.

Survivors include herdaughters, Sharon, Ruth, Rebecca, and Faith; son, Jonathan; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Rebecca; many nieces and nephews; step-children, Vaunda, Jim and Donald; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; many loving friends.
