Nona Imagene Pennington, 92, joined her beloved husband in heaven on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016.
Nona was born on Sept. 25, 1923, in Jefferson, Texas. She lived most of her life in Corpus Christi before moving to Burleson 10 years ago to live with her daughter, Pamela.
"Jean" loved spending time with her family, playing bridge, traveling and sitting in her "sunroom". She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Ashel Pennington, in 2009; and her sister, Loraine Hinson.
Survivors include her brother, Ed Meisenheimer and wife, Dee; daughter, Pamela Fisher; son, Bill Moses and wife, Shirley; son, David Pennington; daughter, Patty Hamon; grandchildren, Deborah Wichterich, Tina Britton, David Haley, Kyle Moses, Gary Moses, Ryan Hamon, Layne Hamon, Jeff Pennington, and Julie Pennington; and 12 great-grandchildren.
