The service for Glena Heathington Polson, age 84, of Burleson, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at Bailey County Cemetery in Muleshoe, Texas.
Glena died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, in Crowley, Texas. She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Sudan, Texas, to Glen Malcomb and Berta (Glenn) Miller. Glena married Willard Heathington and, after his death in 1964, she married Lynn Polson.
She is preceded in death by both of her husbands, Willard Heathington and Lynn Polson; her parents; her step-father, Ira L. Kitchens; and two sons, Mackie Heathington and Ronald Heathington.
Survivors include her son, Hal Heathington and his wife, Beth, of Georgetown, Texas; her daughter, Gayla Shuster, of Burleson, Texas; two sisters, Charlie Lipke, of Hamlin, Texas, and Gail Kitchens Goodwin and her husband, Mike, of Festus, Missouri; two brothers, Bunt Kitchens and his wife, Ruth, of Muleshoe, Texas, and Larry Kitchens, of Palestine, Texas; two grandchildren, Stephanie Patton and Valarie Armstrong; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
