Lanetta Bridschge, 65 of Burleson, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018.

There will be a visitation Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, from 4:00-6:00 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas. She will then be laid to rest at 10:00 on Dec. 24, 2018, at a graveside service at the Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lanetta was born in Tyler, Texas, on March 19, 1953, to F.E. and Janie Meador. They later moved to Burleson, Texas, where Lanetta graduated from Burleson High School in 1971. Shortly after graduation, she met the love of her life, Donald, and they married just a year later. They spent 46 magical years as husband and wife. Lanetta and Donald had four daughters during this time. She loved her family and friends but, most of all, she loved the Lord. Lanetta loved singing in the church choir over the years, and spreading the word of God to anyone that would listen. Her smile and laughter would fill a room and her voice was so comforting, but the thing she was best at was loving and being a servant to others. She is now lighting up the sky, as she did our world. It’s not goodbye, it’s until we see you again!

She is preceded in death by her father, F.E Meador, and mother, Janie Meador, of Burleson, Texas.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Donald; daughters, Michelle Martin and husband, Kaare, Melissa Willson and husband, John, Marie Johnson and husband, Michael, and Meredith Bridschge, all of Burleson, Texas; her brother, Gary Meador and wife, Joyce, also of Burleson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Mountain Valley Funeral Home, in Joshua, is handling the arrangements. 817-426-3200
