Helen Jamison, 81, of Burleson, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Visitation is from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018.
Helen was born Sept. 7, 1936, in Shiner, Texas, to Raymond and Anita Stindt. She worked at Burleson State Bank which eventually became Wells Fargo Bank. In her time at the bank, she established lasting friendships with many area residents and businesses. She became a much beloved fixture at the bank and had many regular customers that would wait in her line just to talk to her.
She was preceded in death by mother, Anita; father, Raymond; son, Kevin; daughter, Debra; brother, Eugene; and sister, Diana.
Survivors include her son, Bryan Jamison and wife, Kelli; sister, Renette Butler; granddaughter, Rachel Martinez and husband, Rene; grandson, David Moxley and wife, Pauline; three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and many others who formed a special bond with her; and longtime friend and companion, Tom Goff.
Helen will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who always had a great smile, a hearty laugh, and a kind word. Her spirit will live on in the lives of those she touched.
